Individual Therapy
I provide a client-centered, integrative approach to individual therapy. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and I am there to help guide you to your goals, and uncover the traits, and strengths you’ve always had but have been buried due to traumas and shame.
I also like to help deconstruct the messages we have been given by greater systems that are often rooted in the oppression of LGBT, disabled, neurodivergent, female-identified, and BIPOC peoples.
I specialize in working with LGBT identified and BIPOC folk. I understand the specific issues that being a person with the lived experience of multiple oppressions can create.
My rate for 50 minute individual sessions is: $150-200. I do not currently accept insurance.
Couples Therapy
I work with couples through an attachment lens. I take a look at how each person in the relationship formed their attachments and how they are attempting to get their needs met, and believe this forms a greater understanding of the other and that this leads to greater empathy in the relationship, whether that empathy and understanding leads to separation or the continuation of a relationship. I have experienced working with same-sex couples, and couples exploring ethical non-monogamy.
My rate for 60 minute couples session is: $175-225. I do not currently accept insurance.
Immigration Evaluations
I am a first-generation United States born citizen. My family emigrated from El Salvador, fleeing a civil war. I know that being able to obtain legal-status helped our family stay together, and helped get me to where I am today. I know the importance of a family staying together, and want to help facilitate the process of acquiring legal-status in this country, and reduce the amount of family separation.
I provide immigration evaluations for U-Visas, VAWA (Violence against women act), and Extreme Hardship. I provide 2-3 assessment sessions and a written report for $800.
